On Tuesday, May 14, participating Haagen-Dazs shops will offer free ice cream cones from 4-8 p.m. Simply stop in during those hours and pick up a treat in the flavor of your choice. Portions are 4 ounces, and include ice cream, gelato, frozen yogurt and sorbet. Be prepared to wait in line!

Unfortunately, the only shop in the Austin area that is participating is the San Marcos location, at 3939 IH-35, South Frontage Road, Suite 130.

Canopy Studios Grand Opening

Drop by Canopy Studios, Austin’s newest creative complex, on Saturday, May 11 from 10 am-5 pm and Sunday, May 12 from 11 am-5 pm, for their grand opening party. There will be plenty of bites, beverages, live music, and art. Here’s what the party organizers say about the new venue:

In celebration of Cinco de Mayo this weekend, all Taco Bueno locations in Texas will offer servings of queso for just five cents. This offer is good Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5.
